Body College is excited to start a new biodynamic craniosacral therapy (BCST) training in Galway starting in October 2025.

The course is suitable for existing health professionals considering adding a new modality to their work as well as individuals wanting to start a career in an exciting and evolving therapy. Seminar one is an introduction into basic contact skills and relating to biodynamic movements and will provide an opportunity to experience the approach and appreciate the extent of the curriculum.

Body College is provisionally accredited with the Irish Association of Craniosacral Therapists (IACST). We will be the only biodynamic course in Ireland. Within the course we teach all the anatomy you need to be an excellent BCST. To practice in the Ireland it is easy to get insurance after graduating from Body College. It is recommended, but voluntary, to join the IACST. If you no have previous anatomy background the IACST may require you do extra Anatomy and Physiology training in order to join their register.

Body College is accredited by the  International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings (IABT) standards of training. All IABT courses are 700 hours of teaching – 350 hours of direct class teaching (ten five day seminars of 35 hours) and 350 hours of homestudy.

The bulk of the homestudy is 150 treatments given over the lifecycle of the course. Homestudy includes reflections on your progress, short essays, drawing, meditation practice and reading between seminars. Plus, there are three case history projects in the final year and a longer write up on a clinical condition. Contact skills are assessed via regular feedbacks sessions on tutors during class time.

Intro Events

Get a felt sense of the power of non-doing relational touch.

Come and learn about biodynamic craniosacral therapy. The introductory events are designed to provide a taste of this exciting and evolving body therapy science. You will explore through self-experiential exercises the nature of health and how to feel the expressions of health as subtle biodynamic motions in the body. We will discuss trauma and how its effects are safely resolved with BCST.

You will have a chance to meet some of the course tutors and discuss the course structure and material. The intro events are a chance to learn some core skills and get a feel for the style of teaching. They are great opportunities to learn how to touch other people with more skill. People are frequently surprised at how much they can feel, even in a short session.

If you are attending a Galway Intro Event and would like to receive a BCST session with Josef there is a reduced price of €50.00 for a 45 min session. Contact Josef direct:  [email protected]  or  087 921 7562‬
